Hour of Code

Join the movement and introduce your students to computer science with an #HourOfCode, taking place Dec. 6 – 12.
Hour of Code activities are self-guided and can be accessed through this link.
Hour of Code started as a one-hour introduction to computer science, designed to demystify code, to show that anybody can learn the basics, and to broaden participation in the field of computer science. It has since become a worldwide effort to celebrate computer science, starting with 1-hour coding activities but expanding to all sorts of community efforts.
If you have questions or need support locally, please reach out to us or fill out this form.
The Oregon Network of STEAM Hubs is interested in hearing from our communities about the perceived availability of computer science/digital literacy learning opportunities for our youth. We also want to understand the perceived sense of importance this area of learning has for our youth.
