Douglas County educators are invited to attend Dec. 9 workshop

Did you know that the Umpqua Valley STEAM Hub has a treasure trove of STEAM resources, all available for educators to check out for free? And you don’t even have to keep track of a library card!

Find out more by registering for the Resource Lending Library Workshop, a free event taking place from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Dec. 9, at Umpqua Community College.

The STEAM hub’s Resource Lending Library, found at Umpqua Community College, allows teachers to borrow equipment, technology, kits, books, and tools, all of which can be delivered to your school or educational site through the UCC and Douglas Education Service District couriers. The workshop is geared to teachers who work with students from pre-kindergarten through middle school. However, the inventory includes resources appropriate for all ages.

Take a tour through the lending library by watching this short video: https://youtu.be/cEbMsR_HNyc, and by visiting our website at www.umpquasteamhub.org.
